Susie has a unique set of talents and life experience that prepared her to speak and inspire over one million youth and adults across the United States and Canada for the past 28 years. She has been inducted into the National Speakers Association “Speakers Hall of Fame” and is a Certified Speaking Professional. She has been a conference keynote, school assembly speaker, and workshop presenter using her dance, acting, yoga, meditation, 12-Step, and stress management expertise. She has taught yoga, meditation, modern and jazz dance, and Zumba for over the past 30 years, always helping others gain confidence, self-esteem and joy from these endeavors.
Susie has written books and produced videos to help others on their journey to becoming all they are meant to be. And she became a Monarch Butterfly Citizen Scientist, raising hundreds of monarchs in her backyard as a result of a ruptured appendix that kept her in her garden for 6 weeks to heal. She now uses monarch butterfly life cycle and life challenges to help others find the insights and hope to address human life challenges.
Susie has been married for 34 years to Dr. Ken Vanderlip, clinical psychologist and EMDR/trauma/stress management expert and consultant. Together they merged their passion and commitment to guiding others through life’s challenges using mindfulness, yoga, meditation, psychology, martial arts, 12-step tools. Their toolkit and guidance can be found in their DE-STRESS FOR SUCCESS: Workbook and Multi-Media package. Susie and Ken are available for a variety of live programs, workshops and seminars that uplift, inspire and bring hope back into our lives, for it is out of HOPE that we can take the daily small steps toward healthy, happy life styles.
